LAGO is a place for creatives, innovators and policymakers to meet, connect and collaborate. To reflect this, the design of the LAGO identity is an exploration based on data and key characteristics of the people who make and inspire LAGO.
The logo is a continuous curved shape which rotates around a central point revealing its complexity and variations. The constant movement of the shape reveals the different angles and viewpoints from which to observe the center: as it rotates, some portions of the curved shapes become more visible while others create new intersections.
We used the logo and its variations to create a unique shape for each person who helped make LAGO, based on common data and characteristics: places, aspirations, passions and what we work on.
The logo comes alive with the rotation of a continuous curved shape along three axes and around a central point: our passions and sector characteristics around the X-axis; the distance between our place of origin and where we live is used to calculate the rotation around the Y-axis; the places where one day we would like to be determine the rotation of the Z-axis. Each rotation of the axes generates an individual version of the LOGO, specific to each of us.
